I loved taking classes at Serendipity! Sonia believes in all of her students' abilities and only wants us to do our best. She teaches us to be confident in ourselves by encouraging us to be creative, have fun, and to keep trying no matter what. As a student, she helped my love for theatre grow and she helped inspire me to pursue a career in it. As an intern, I learned what goes into running the studio. I even got the chance to teach my own classes! This opportunity gave me the skills I need to work with a variety of age groups and teach them how amazing theatre is and I realized exactly what I wanted to do in my future. I highly encourage everyone to take classes because of how much you learn, grow, and have fun in an atmosphere that welcomes everyone with any skill level.

I cannot speak anymore highly on what my daughter has learned since starting with Serendipity 4 years ago. She has not only blossomed into this wonderful, talented & now professional model/actress! Sonia has opened up doors for my daughter that is paving a road to her success... I’m very pleased and happy with my decision on sending her to Serendipity! We are very lucky & fortunate to have Sonia!! She’s been wonderful & has taught my girl so much!!

Sonia and Serendipity Acting Studio are a true treasure for the Carroll area. We are blessed that our daughter Regan has had the opportunity to learn and grow while working with Sonia at Serendipity over the last 3 years. Regan's confidence and creativity have grown tremendously since she started in 2nd grade. Sonia is such a loving and supportive role model for Regan and she has ignited a true passion in her. The opportunity to interact with other students and learn from not only Sonia but older, more accomplished students has helped Regan set high goals for herself that she hopes to achieve in the future. As her parents, we are so grateful for Sonia and cannot thank her enough for developing and cultivating the life long skills that Serendipity has instilled in our daughter."

During my time at Serendipity Acting Studios, I appreciated the studio space where I felt that my opinion was always valued. There were many activities that pushed me to my limits, helping me grow my character and a willingness to try new things. Since going to college, I have used skills from Serendipity to thrive in the college atmosphere. Being taught how to present yourself unapologetically, and to always speak up for what you believe in were believed to be crucial gifts picked up from time spent at the studio. I also learned to be more social, and be someone who listens, sees, and hears others. With these values in mind, I became a freshman orientation leader where I hope to pass these values from Serendipity to the incoming classes. While not actively pursuing theatre, I will always be a huge supporter of theatre and the arts alike.

My boys absolutely LOVE Serendipity Acting Studio! They are both diagnosed with Autism and Fragile X Syndrome, and it amazes me what they can accomplish on the stage. Sonia is so patient with them and always picks a perfect script for them to be involved as much as possible. We are so fortunate to have this in Carroll!

My child joined Serendipity when we moved to Carroll. Sonia has brought out the best in him. I am grateful everyday that our community has this program. It is a rare and special activity that you don't normally find in small towns, and a great alternative for the many talented, creative kids that don't find what they need in the athletics programs that are so heavily stressed in most rural communities. Kudos to Sonia.

Since Serendipity I have attended college and completed a Double major in Film Production and Biblical and Theological Studies with a Minor in Theater. I have directed several short films and a One Act Play. I acted in a production of Phantom of the Opera and Sense and Sensibility. My time with Serendipity helped push my acting and develop a passion for theater and performance. I graduated this May 2018 from college and have moved out to LA to pursue a career in Film.
